    Responsibilities

    • Handle calls from both prospects and/or existing customers to facilitate the following call types: Sales, Upsell, Billing and Retention, and General Customer Service Inquiries
    • Use computerized system for tracking, information gathering, and/or troubleshooting
    • Demonstrate commitment to and the ability to retain and up-sell
    • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by members of management

    Qualifications

    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • Prior customer service/sales experience preferred; experience in a call center environment preferred
    • Proven ability to articulate product value proposition
    • Demonstrated ability to retain and up-sell customers
    • Excellent telephone communication skills
    • Ability to type 25wpm with 90% accuracy
    • Ability to work in a Microsoft Windows environment
    • Ability to navigate the Internet and a computer-based data entry system
    • Ability to demonstrate strong verbal business communication / ability to respond appropriately using ICD suggested scripted response without sounding like they are reading from a script.

    • Ability to multi-task (listen and type at the same rate)
    • Successful completion of Intersections Credit Education Specialist training program and passing of all certification exams
    • Scheduling flexibility a must
    • Must be able to work flexible shifts between the hours of 6AM - 9PM Monday – Friday, and Saturdays between the hours of 7AM-4PM
