    Intersections Inc. is seeking an Account Manager to manage and oversee both our key accounts within our Employee Benefits business as well as manage a team of Associates tasked with the management of the reminder of our Employee Benefits client relationships. The ideal candidate will have background in client relationships, program management and team management as well as business analytics, and should possess strong written and oral communication skills. Ideally, the ideal candidate will have had experience administering employee benefits either as part of a Human Resources team, a benefits broker or a service provider. The individual in this position will ensure revenue and partner satisfaction goals are met and that the partner program supports the company's overall strategy and goals.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Serve as business owner responsible for day-to-day management of assigned programs. 
    • Build, develop, and maintain strong, trusted, and positive relationships with clients and brokers.
    • Responsible for achieving revenue metrics for assigned programs. 
    • Lead new clients & brokers through the setup, onboarding, training, and solution adoption process for the applicable contracted Identity Guard program.
    • Provide product and platform demos to exhibit flexibility and value of Identity Guard employee solutions to active groups. Attend calls/presentations with Sales Team, as required. 
    • Coordinate with Engagement team to ensure active engagement and promotion of Identity Guard solutions by clients & brokers. 
    • Act as a liaison between the client, broker and Identity Guard, serving as an internal advocate. 
    • Ensure client requests and issues are handled timely, appropriately and accurately.
    • Drive resolution for both client, broker and employee complaints and issues, coordinating solutions and enhancements cross-functionally.
    • Develop a thorough understanding of client and broker business needs and requirements to proactively demonstrate and deliver increased value throughout their lifecycle. Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to client and/or broker needs and objectives.
    • Proactively ensure client and broker satisfaction through regular client conference calls and consistent communication.
    • Perform periodic strategic account reviews with client and brokers. 
    • Create comprehensive and timely records of service activities, issues, and resolutions. 
    • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of all internal and external developments which may affect current business and operational plans for clients and brokers; advise parties of relevant matters.
    • Create, generate and distribute external reporting for clients and brokers. Ensure accuracy and timeliness. Provide trend analysis where applicable. 
    • Oversee and manage a small team of Associates tasked with program management across our West and East Coast sales regions. 

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years of account or program management experience – ideally in a field or role associated with the administration or provision of employee benefit solutions. 
    • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
    • Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and develop recommendations.
    • Experience managing multiple, competing priorities, duties and/or projects. Proven ability to accommodate evolving responsibilities and last-minute changes. 
    • Experience working closely with and providing direction to cross-functional and cross-level teams. 
    • Ability to work independently to manage projects and meet deadlines. 
    • Team-player. Adept at working at all levels to ensure expectations are being met for internal and external partners.
    • Able to lead, motivate and grow a team of direct reports. 
    • Strong decision-making, organizational, planning and problem-solving skills.
    • Assertive, self-motivated, industrious personality with energetic, can-do, solution-oriented attitude.
    • Occasional travel required (up to 10% per month).
    • Strong Microsoft Excel and Power Point skills.
